KERİGAN, before moving on to workshop activities, discussed fundamental concepts related to creative drama. She emphasized the purpose and importance of creative drama, particularly highlighting its positive contributions to the development process of children and adolescents. In her speech, she stated, "Creative drama is the enactment of scenarios based on individuals' experiences within a group, guided by an instructor, in a specific space, using role-playing and improvisation techniques. Creative drama processes are based on spontaneity, make-believe, and role-playing. Creative drama can be effective in achieving many goals in solving problems encountered in educational programs and in the development of programs. Based on this, the general aim of creative drama is to cultivate individuals who are creative, self-sufficient, self-aware, capable of communicating with their surroundings, and able to improve their expressive power and forms, think imaginatively, and develop aesthetic concerns, democratic attitudes, and behaviors in all areas through enactments. Looking at what creative drama provides, it promotes physical activity and aids in physical development. It teaches participation rather than passivity. It teaches the use of body language. It facilitates self-expression. It fosters public speaking skills. It helps shed inhibitions and stiffness, boosting self-confidence." Then, workshop activities commenced. At the end of the workshop, students' evaluations were collected, and the event concluded.Formun Üstü
