A seminar titled “Children Empowered by Nature for Healthy Generations” was organized through the collaboration of the Department of Child Development within the Faculty of Health Sciences at Istanbul Gelişim University and the Addiction Prevention Coordination Office. The seminar was held on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at 14:00 at the Esenyurt District Governorate Family Support Center (ADEM) with the participation of 8th-grade middle school students. Within the scope of the program, topics such as the effects of connecting with nature on child and adolescent development, sustainability awareness, respect for nature, the positive contributions of spending time in nature to psychological well-being, the biomimicry approach, and nature-inspired designs were discussed.
